Support the Profession & Partner Us

Research & Academic Collaboration

We welcome collaboration with researchers, educational institutions, healthcare organisations, and practitioners seeking to advance the evidence base for aromatherapy.

Partnership opportunities may include collaborative research projects, participant recruitment, surveys, case studies, educational initiatives, conference presentations, publications, and other activities that contribute to evidence-informed practice and professional development.

Community Partnership Projects

The IFA welcomes partnership enquiries from care homes, schools, charities, healthcare providers, community groups, and other organisations interested in incorporating aromatherapy into their services.

Projects may include wellbeing programmes, staff training, educational initiatives, community outreach, or charitable activities.

We particularly welcome partnerships where both organisations contribute resources, funding, expertise, or promotional support, creating a mutually beneficial relationship that raises awareness of aromatherapy and the organisations involved.

Support Our Community & Care Home Projects

Help us bring the benefits of aromatherapy to the wider community by donating aromatherapy products, kits, supplies, funding, or other resources for use within IFA-supported charitable and care home initiatives.

These projects support vulnerable individuals and community wellbeing while providing an opportunity for companies to demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility and the advancement of aromatherapy.

Sponsor a Student or Professional Award

Support excellence within the profession by sponsoring an award, prize, bursary, or recognition initiative for students, practitioners, researchers, or volunteers.

Award sponsorship demonstrates a commitment to professional development and helps recognise achievement, innovation, and service within the aromatherapy community.

Professional Placement Partnerships

Organisations interested in incorporating aromatherapy into their services are invited to discuss partnership opportunities with the IFA.

This may include work placements, volunteer opportunities, community wellbeing projects, educational initiatives, care settings, workplace wellbeing programmes, or other activities that provide valuable practical experience for aromatherapists while benefiting the wider community.

The IFA welcomes partnerships that support professional development, raise awareness of aromatherapy, and create meaningful opportunities for qualified aromatherapists to apply their skills in real-world settings.
