Share Your Expertise
Contribute an Article to The Aromatherapy Times
Share your expertise with the aromatherapy profession by contributing an article to the IFA's internationally distributed magazine, The Aromatherapy Times, which is registered with the British Library.
We welcome submissions on topics including essential oils, hydrolats, aromatherapy practice, formulation, botany, chemistry, sustainability, perfumery, research, and case studies. Articles should be approximately 1,500 words in length, educational in nature, and non-commercial. Brand promotion, product placement, and overt marketing content are not permitted within editorial articles.
Press Releases & Editorial Submissions
We welcome press releases relating to research findings, surveys, statistics, awareness campaigns, events, and other developments relevant to aromatherapy and complementary healthcare.
Relevant submissions may be considered for inclusion across IFA communications channels. Please note that press releases solely promoting individual product launches are not accepted. Organisations seeking product promotion are encouraged to explore the IFA's advertising, sponsorship, exhibition, and corporate membership opportunities.
Educational Talks & Webinars
Practitioners, researchers, authors, educators, and industry experts are welcome to propose educational talks and webinars for the IFA community. Topics should be relevant to aromatherapy, essential oils, wellbeing, complementary healthcare, research, or professional practice.
Approved presentations are typically delivered as one-hour sessions and promoted to the IFA database and wider audience as part of our ongoing commitment to education and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Book Reviews
Authors and publishers are invited to submit books for review relating to aromatherapy, essential oils, anatomy and physiology, professional practice, or business development for complementary therapy practitioners.
Selected books will receive an independent IFA review, which may be used by authors and publishers for promotional purposes. Reviews may also be shared across IFA communications channels and considered for inclusion in recommended reading lists where appropriate.
