Awareness & Fundraising Events
Each year we raise awareness of our wonderful therapy, registrants and schools at various global events. During these events we also fundraise for various causes close to our hearts.
Featured: Setting a new GUINESS WORLD RECORD!
In the past we have attended events such as:
On 26th March 2018 at the Heung Yee Kuk Building, Shatin, Hong Kong, IFA members came together for a historic event which set a new Guinness World Record. They did this by giving 30-minute hand massages simultaneously to 297 elderly people, beating the previous world record of 250. All participants were recruited locally from hospices and care homes. To make this happen the IFA funded the materials and expenses of the event in excess of £5,000 and provided the volunteer therapists. This landmark in the IFA’s history is an amazing honour for not only the IFA but our professional members who took part. It was also a wonderful illustration of our members doing what they do best - helping, healing and supporting their local community and promoting aromatherapy in the best possible way. An incredible accomplishment and memorable day.

NHS Well to Excel Fair
IFA 主席（時任）蘇·穆斯利 (Sue Mousley) 作為皇家助產士學院工作場所代表幫助組織了一場活動，將慶祝 NHS 65 週年和 NHS 員工福祉活動結合在一起。 這一天的主題是“Well to Excel”，意思是如果工作人員身體健康，他們就會在患者護理方面表現出色。 這一天有兩個主要組成部分，第一個是外部區域，涵蓋了 1940 年代的一切。 工作人員穿著制服參加茶會，並配有配給書和舊便士。 內部區域有治療師和公共衛生站，提供補充療法的建議。 在芳香療法區，Sue 提供了有關芳香療法、巴赫花療法的建議以及有關 IFA 的信息，並提供了坐式指壓按摩。
