Board and Committees
The IFA is governed by a board of trustees with a breadth of knowledge and experience who direct and manage how the charity is run. Run by aromatherapists for aromatherapists, the board of trustees are volunteers elected by members of the Federation with two lay members who are non-members.
The board of trustees are supported by numerous committees and specialist advisors who act as consultants to the Federation. The IFA currently has the following committees:
- Education & Quality Assurance
- Finance & Resources
- Professional Standards & Registration Committee
- Public Relations & Media
- Sanctions & Complaints
We have an international board of trustees with meetings taking place every two months. If you wish to contact a trustee or committee member this must be put in writing addressed to the IFA head office to be discussed at their convened meeting.
