Awards and Awards Ceremony

Aromatherapists throughout the country are doing an outstanding job, whether working in Alternative Health Centres, Hospitals, Hospices, Beauty Clinics or in private practice. On a daily basis our members across the globe are preserving the health of different nations and inspiring the next generation of aromatherapists to come. Some are well known, write books, promote aromatherapy to the media, teach and give lectures but perhaps the greater number are best described as just roll-up-the-sleeves-down-to-earth therapists involved in the business of helping, healing, encouraging, supporting and promoting aromatherapy in the best possible way – by being a living example and a credit to their profession. The IFA awards aim to celebrate these unsung heroes so please enter today and gain the acknowledgement you deserve. If you think someone deserves this award but know they are just too modest please enter them on their behalf.

The awards ceremony will be at the IFA head office 146 South Ealing Road, Ealing, London, W5 4QJ date to be announced.

The award categories are as follows:

This award acknowledges those who have raised the profile of aromatherapy in the press and media through effective marketing, publications, authoring, campaigning, sharing their expertise with others, received glowing testimonials etc.

This award acknowledges those who have gone above and beyond during their studies demonstrating dedication to their education and future career, in the form of exceptional case studies, business and research projects etc.

This award acknowledges those who have dedicated their time to charitable causes, for example working in hospices, hospitals etc. in a voluntary capacity, raising awareness of the profession in their local community and sharing their expertise etc.

Candidates will be reviewed by the board of trustees. The deadline for applicants is 31st March 2020.

Winners will be provided with the IFA Award logo for their website, a goody bag and most important the prestigious IFA glass cup to display in your practice. Three shortlist prizes for each category will also be given. For overseas applicants who are unable to attend the event this will be provided by post. Good Luck!
